3 Options Available
01
Novice.
This plan is for runners that can run for at least 30 minutes without stopping and usually run 2 to 3 times a week. They will have been running regularly for a year or more. They may be aiming at their first race (maybe a marathon) or have completed one or two other races before.

Improver.
This plan is for runners that are comfortable running about 50 minutes without stopping and usually run at least three times a week. They will have been running regularly for 3 or more years. They will have completed several races before and may may also be looking to train for a new PB.

Advanced.
This plan is for runners that have been running for 5+ years. Regularly run 30+ miles per week and can run for at least an hour without stopping. They will have completed many races of all distances, probably including a marathon or two (or several). They most likely will be aiming for a new PB race time.
This base training plan is not necessarily best suited to absolutely everyone.
This is NOT for you if:
- You're a highly accomplished competitive runner used to training 6 days a week and logging >60 miles/week on a regular basis. If that's you, my individual 1-2-1 coaching or a tailored training plan would be a much better option.
- You haven't run at all before and are just looking to get started. If that's you then my complete beginner program "Activ8" is what you need.
